The alternative insurance policy for keeping in work – keeping your mind clear - 26.10.17

Developing a peaceful, clear and calm mind, unfettered by insanity and personality disorders. Perhaps this is already you. Maybe it is partially you. In any case, we can all be better in this regard.
How to get there? Meditation. Focused awareness. Exercise. Balance in life activities.
We all have habits. Some are good, some are bad, and some are just the way we are.
Developing that peacefulness needs a good habit.
It isn’t just a case of reading about how to meditate, meditating once or twice, or on infrequent occasions, and then assuming that you have achieved the inner peace needed to be creative, skilful in areas that AI and Robotics have not yet caught up to.
Building the habit is initially a conscious process. Eventually, you want it to be like breathing. Something that you do without needing to think about. (having said that, a lot of meditation practices rely on a focus on breathing)
There are also other exercises using your mind that build the habit of keeping your mind clear, calm unfettered and peaceful. Self-hypnosis is one of them.
Self-hypnosis is a very useful technique to utilise. The power of suggestion, incorporated into a routine to help build the habit that you want has been used in hypnotherapy for a long time. Other techniques, which utilise NLP are also useful, and powerful. They build beneficial approaches to various situations and are a key in developing a creative mind and skill set.
ProjectCoach builds these areas. Our coaching is focused on the creativity and innovation skill building process. A number of organisations have worked with us to build this side in their people. To build the culture in the organisation.
Our next post looks at Building the capacity for creativity.
